Senzokuike Park

The city’s largest cherry blossom spot. The park is alive with many cherry-blossom viewers in late March every year with vendors’ carts standing in a row.

Sakurazaka

Start from Numabe Station of Tokyu Tamagawa Line, pass Tokoin Temple, move toward the northeast, and then reach around Den-enchofu-Honcho 19. You can see a road cut through the hilly terrain on the former Nakahara Kaido road lying between stone fences. Cherry trees are planted along this road, which is called “Sakurazaka.”
A hit song with the same name by J-pop singer Masaharu Fukuyama made this road famous, attracting many people in the cherry blossom season.
