It has been long since the boom of high quality bread loaf arrived in Japan, but it was the end of 2018 that SAKIMOTO, a specialty store of bread loaf was opened in Denenchofu as the first store in the Tokyo area. SAKIMOTO became popular among the residents of Denenchofu shortly after the opening, and its flagship products are these two types of bread loaf.
“Super Fresh ‘Milk Butter’ Bread Loaf” (950 yen, tax included. Picture on the right) made from flour fermented for long hours at low temperature, milk and fresh cream from Hokkaido is SAKIMOTO’s specialty, which has super springy, fluffy texture. The maker recommend you eat the bread without toasting it. Once you eat it, you will be surely addicted to its springy texture.
“Super Beautiful ‘Natural’ Bread Loaf” (900 yen, tax included. Picture on the left) is produced in the warm water yeast production method which can create moist feeling without using eggs and milk as a daily food. You will be addicted to the bread’s “soft and moist” texture when it’s toasted. That is a regular item SAKIMOTO proudly recommends.
SAKIMOTO’s bread loaves are very moist, so you will feel it’s heavy compared to ordinary bread loaves. That’s why you can fully enjoy the springy or moist texture.
At the Denenchofu store, you can have toasted bread at the eating area.
Furthermore, you can choose 3 types of jam out of 16 types of SAKIMOTO’s original jam and 2 types of butter for the bread. Of course, you can choose 1 type of bread loaf out of the above-mentioned 2 types. For this report, we ordered this.

Ta-dah! You can spread 3 types of jam on a slice of bread like this and enjoy 3 types of flavor! The original jam has rich and elegant flavor as well as a bread loaf. In particular, the pistachio pearl jam was chosen as my favorite (LoL).
They have 16 types of jam; 5 types of fruits, 7 types of milk, 4 types of Japonism. Moreover, they have SAKIMOTO’s original coffee brewed with a Siphon coffee maker. So, the customized toast is suitable for a little luxurious brunch! The 4 slices of a bread loaf served in the customized toast are put in a sealed bag and sold in the store.
The bread loaves are baked 4 times a day. You can check the baked time on the official website!
